My story

About Me

I’m Jovi, a guitarist, beginner banjo player, and marketer.
I’ve been playing guitar for 8+ years. Over the years, guitar has become a big part of my life, including playing guitar in church worship.

I started learning banjo more recently, which has been a completely different challenge and a fun way to approach music from a new perspective.
I enjoy playing, learning, writing and recording music, and experimenting with different sounds and techniques. I’m also interested in the process behind music: how people learn, how musicians build an audience, and how artists and teachers can turn what they do into something sustainable.

Alongside music, I work in marketing and search. Today, I’m particularly interested in helping guitar teachers and coaches get more students and build their presence online.
Music and marketing might seem like two different worlds, but for me they fit together naturally. I’ve spent years learning guitar, and now I’m using what I’ve learned about marketing to help people in the same world.

What I’m Doing Now

Music & Marketing

These days, I’m balancing two things I enjoy: music and marketing.
I’m continuing to develop as a guitarist, learning banjo, writing music and sharing the process.
At the same time, I’m building my work around helping guitar teachers and coaches get more students through better online marketing.

Why Guitar Teachers?

I’ve spent years on the student side of music, learning guitar and now banjo. I know what it’s like to look for lessons, learn from teachers, struggle with certain techniques, and figure out what actually helps you improve. That gives me a different perspective when I work with guitar teachers. I’m not just interested in marketing guitar lessons. I understand the world I’m marketing to.
